RON PERLMAN'S
PROFESSIONAL CAREER in THEATRE


 From 1974 to 1976 Ron Perlman worked with the Classic Stage Company  performing works byIbsen, Chekhov, Pinter, O’Neill, and Shakespeare.

He made his professional debut in The ARCHITECT AND THE EMPEROR OF ASSYRIA  at La Mama, directed by Tom O’Horgon.   Ron played the role of The Emperor.

He also appeared in the following productions directed by Tom O’Horgon:

- AMERICAN HEROES, a musical set in Hell: In the role of Satan.   Performed in Washington, DC, and then New York and Broadway. 

- THE RESISTABLE RISE OF ARTURO UI: In the role of Artuo Ui. 

- PAL JOEY: In the role of Ludlow Lowell.
